Initial D is my life-time favorite movie.
i still remember i watched it with my late brother. Initial D was started as a Japanese manga series created by Shuichi Shigeno, then anime series, then live-action movie. i was relieved the movie was well-made by Alan Mak Siu-Fai and Andrew Lau Wai-Keung. with a line of my favorite stars: jay chou, edison, shawn, jordan, anthony, chapman, kenny.. and suzuki anne. i love jay-anne pair. cute.
one of the reasons why i love this movie is because the racing were only took at the mountain passes without disturbing urban or rural areas. even it might considered as illegal racing, i still took it with a clean image as the drift racing just focusing on the skills and technical stuff without involving money gambling or drugs. plus, all the movie's soundtracks are marvelous.
